Hotel Reine Mathilde in the heart of Bayeux is the perfect blend of history and comfort. The charming ambiance of the old renovated house create a tranquil setting for exploring the wonders of the city on foot. We enjoyed a cozy room with modern touches, overlooking the serene Aure river, making it ideal for a romantic stay as a couple. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet at the Le Garde Manger restaurant was a delightful start to our day, offering a variety of delicious options. The staff were friendly and accommodating, enhancing our experience in this historic capital of the Bessin department. Would highly recommend for a gourmet and relaxing getaway in Normandy.
